These days, Control Union has completed the acquisition of Certima Serbia and Certima Croatia with the intention of expanding its portfolio of certification services in the region.

Following the acquisition in late November, Control Union Danube has expanded its business to the Croatian market by offering its globally recognizable control and certification service.

According to the director of Control Union Serbia and Croatia, Saša Đurđević, 'this acquisition is strategically planned to increase the competitiveness of our control house in the region, but also to present our global certification expertise to a wider market. Apart from previous goods control services, we can now certify processes and products.'

With its roots in agricultural goods inspection, Peterson & Control Union Group has been known for nearly 100 years for its logistics, quality control, certification, and risk management expertise. The company, which is still family-owned, operates in more than 70 countries worldwide and employs over 4,000 people.

For its twelve years of business, the representative office in Serbia has so far successfully cooperated with clients such as MK Group, CHS Serbia, Konzul, and RWA Serbia.
